Built in 1867 and lovely restored, our farmstead is situated in a central location between Dresden and the Saxon Switzerland.
In just half an hour you can drive to Dresden, while the first bizarre rocks of the Saxon Switzerland are easily reachable on foot.

The „Big one“ – holidays on 110 m²!
3 to 4 bed rooms, terrace, big rustic common room with an arched ceiling. Sauna additionally bookable. Even more guests? Combine with flat 2!
The „Small one“ – about 40 m².
One bed room, a spacious living room, also usable as additional bed room. Combine with flat 1 for up to 6 bed rooms.

Two out of a multitude of recommendable restaurants are the „Kunsthandwerkerhaus“ in Langenwolmsdorf and the eating house „Zur alten Säge“ in Wehlen, where you can also view a miniature model of the Saxon Switzerland. Closest is the „Niedere Gasthof“ in Stürza (ca. 3 km), where you can enjoy hearty saxon cuisine in bucolic ambiance.
You will find a multitude of restaurants with local and international cuisine in Pirna as well as in Dresden, the state capital of Saxony.
You can cushily reach the Saxon Switzerland with its main attraction the world famous „Bastei“ in 1½ hours on a hiking trip.
The historic center of the over 800 years old city Dresden, state capital of Saxony, is reached with a car within just half an hour. Visit the Semperoper, Frauenkirche, Zwinger, or world famous Picture Gallery. Modern Einkaufspassagen for shopping. And if you're tired from walking visit one of the many restaurants and street cafés and enjoy the very special flair of the art and culture city.
Pirna with its lovely old town that is flourishing again after the floodings in 2002 and 2013 is about 10 km away.
Castle town Stolpen is already visible from our Dobrahof (5 km distance). There is also a lot of saxon history to be seen. Elector August the Strong, King of Poland and builder of the Zwinger in Dresden, exiled his mistress Countess Cosel to the castle.
Meißen with its world famous „Meissner Dom“, the „Albrechtsburg“, and its over 1000 years old tradition and history as saxon porcelain town with its year-round opened Porcelain Manufactory.
Seiffen in the Eastern Ore Mountains is the „capital“ of traditional native art.
The Spreewald is a traditional irrigation system consisting of more than 200 small canals. You can participate in boat rides or paddle yourself, either with your own or a rented canoe. We will happily provide you with tips and maps.
The Bohemian Sitzerland in the Czech Republic, where you will find lovely nature, good food, semiluxury food, and gasoline for a nice price.
Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, is to be reached in just two hours now that the the new highway was completed.
We provide you with four bikes for bike tours. If you're looking for a challenge you can explore the area from Saxon Switzerland up to Dresden with a bike. For the whole family we can recommend the Elbe river cycleway for half-day or day trips.
The bizarre and romantic rocks of the Saxon Switzerland can be explored and enjoyed on numerous hiking trails. We mentor you with pleasure.
Climbers can enjoy a broad range of challenges from simple grade 1 up to the hard grade 10+ of the UIAA scale. We provide you with maps for hikes and climbing tours.
We happily liaise you Canoes with pick-up service, for example for a tour downwards the Elbe river through the exiting rock world of the Saxon Switzerland up to Dresden. Meadows along the trail are ideal places for a picnic, beer gardens provide you with refreshments.

In fall and winter we also welcome you in our flats one and two!
Thanks to the exposed position above the Elbe river valley it’s often possible in winter to start on skis into the wide white of the highlands. Relax afterwards in the sauna, which is included from mid-November to mid-March, and forget the daily stress. You won't find the usual "Halligalli" here, as you might know it from ski areas in the Alps. Here you can rest and convalesce!
With the right amount of snow your children will happily built a snow igloo.
With the car you can reach the Ski Area Rugiswalde in half an hour. From January to March there is a high probability of snow thanks to a snow facility. The is a track for for downhill skiing and children have a training slope with lift where they can train independently.
